A Change of Heart || Sam & Jessica

jessica-eastlake:

Jessica smiled sweetly at Samuel as he closed the distance between the two of them, handing her the small flower. “Why thank you!”, she said, laughing lightly. The gesture was one of sticky sweet cliche, but Jessica found it endearing. Sometimes it was nice to be treated as a high school girl of unmatched innocence instead of a woman with a vast sexual history.

Sam kissed her hand, the smile still lingering on Jessica’s face. “I mean that this is totally unlike you! Not that it’s a bad thing”, she added quickly as to not offende Samuel. “It’s just a totally different side of you, I guess. But definitely nice!” She looked at him with a reassuring smile, letting him know that she appreciate the effort he was clearly putting forth.

“We shall”, Jessica stated, hooking her arm through Samuel’s and moving her feet in syncopation with his. The night was brisk, but the cold air felt splendid on her face. There was something about a cool evening that put Jessica in a state of absolute contentment and happiness. The snow on the ground crunched as they made their way to the sidewalk outside of the gates guarding the Galloway house.

“So what brought on this sudden interest in taking me on a date, Samuel?”, Jessica asked curiously, turning her attention to the tall boy beside her. It certainly did feel sudden from her point of view. Sure, Samuel had made his comment on her appearance in the past, but she was used to it. Many of the boys that jessica attended school with had made it almost a game to ‘woo’ her with their words and sexual advances. She played it off as a joke, making a sarcastic ‘you’ll never get this’-esque comment, but few of the compliments ever felt genuine.

“Not that I’m complaining or anything, it’s just a bit out of the blue, don’t you think?” A small pulling at Jessica’s core was suddenly felt. “This isn’t part of a dare or anything, is it? If it is just tell me and I’ll play along”, she added, hoping that it wasn’t all a ploy. Sure, she had never considered Samuel as someone she could be serious with and she wasn’t one to take things too serious, but Jessica still had feelings, and if this was all insincere, it would be a bit of a blow to her self-esteem.

Her words weren’t as harsh as they would’ve been if he were in a vulnerable state. Lucky for him, tonight wasn’t a night to be weak. For the past month or so, he’d been cautious, afraid of revealing the guy he really was. But her questions concerned him. Samuel had absolutely no idea on how to respond to them.

Should he tell her he’s just in need of someone real in his life? Or should he just go on and say that hes up for new experiences? Neither was a lie, but he was debating and deciding on which would be more content for the night he’d shortly planned for the both of them.

The look of Jessica’s smile was wonderful. As May had always described to him, he felt those things in his stomach that girls loved to call butterflies. He never fully understood that term up until now.

“Eh, who says its too late to change?” He fiddled out a smile with his rhetorical question and chuckled. “It is different, even for me..” He said that honestly, also completely surprised at his random in take for a date with Jessica. Not that it was a bad thing or anything.

His problem was that he could never fully understand himself. A part of him told himself that he needed Jessica to be the one real person he could keep in his life that was not related to him like May was. He needed to feel a love different than what his father’s supposedly was. He had to figure out what it felt like to be loved by someone who didn’t feel like they had to.

And so as his thoughts progressed in a manner that made his heart sink even more, he panicked in his mind in search of an answer.

“Sudden interest? Oh nah.” His hands in his jacket pocket, he turned his head to look at her as their feet dug into the snow. “You were with… Chase? I believe thats his name.” The name of the boy didn’t really matter to him, so he continued. “I may be a douche and an asshole, with a slight man whore type of name behind it, but I’d never reach for a girl that’s already got a kid by her side.”

Now he stopped their tracks to fully face her, body to body. “But I’ll be honest.” A smile crept onto his face as he stared at her genuinely. “I just want change in this.. ‘life’ of mine.” and I was hoping that change would be you, he thought to himself.

He winked at her once again and continued their walk, their arms still linked together. He fumbled with his words but came to the conclusion that’d he would retort that question. “Fill me in on why you said yes to me. There’s got to be a reason, after all, you don’t go on dates with just anyone.” Or at least that’s what he thought. “..Right?”

Ass ass ass ass || Sam & Parker

haines-parker

In all honesty, Parker didn’t know what most of these people thought about him, considering he didn’t care much for that sort of thing. He wasn’t caught up in it like some of the others were, he just planned on being himself and doing whatever it was that he wished. One of those things right now were to get incredibly trashed with Sam, and most likely get lucky with some pretty girl that would probably be surrounding the pair. He knew Sam was known around these parts, and he too was known thanks to his famous father. Those kinds of labels helped both of them in many ways, although he was sure that without them they would do just fine.

Many girls already struck his fancy as he let his eyes dart around the busy hot spot, making eye contact with a few of them and giving them his usual Parker side smirk. Licking his lips lightly he looked back at his friend, now resting both his elbows on the bar. Raising his eyebrows he nodded his head only lightly. “Well, we both know I’m not going to say no to that.” He let a light smirk fall across his lips as he looked at the bartender. “Bourbon, on the rocks.” It was his all time favorite drink, and he planned on having a lot of them for this night. He now turned gracefully on his heel, leaning his back against the bar as his eyes once again darted around. “Good selection in here.” Giving his friend a small side glance, another smirk appeared. “How have you been, man?” Sam was someone Parker genuinely enjoyed being around often, even though they were in two completely different houses, he thought highly of him.

He instantly chuckled at how his friend ordered so freely for his drink. He winked at the lady bar tender and said, “Make that two.” He eyed the girl playfully, slowly undressing her in his mind, and made a bit of a snarling noise at her with a slight grin. It wasn’t until she was finished with their drinks that she walked away. And at that dismissal, Samuel turned back to his friend. Toasting, he grinned. “It’s great to see you, Haines. Its been a whole fucking lucking time since we had a chance to do this.” Getting up from the seat he had at the bar, he began to walk near the stage.

He found a seat for two at a tiny round table directly in front of the pole dancers’ stage. The chick had already been stripped down to nothing but fish net stockings and lingerie. This instantly created a smirk on Samuel’s face. In his pocket, he had a wad of dollar bills. Looking over at his friend, he winked at him as he nodded to the chick in front of them. He knew exactly what was going through Parker’s head, since of course, they always thought to same thing of girls here.

Samuel took a sip out of his drink as the girl leaned over, her breasts nearly falling out to his face until he placed on hand on her ass to slap it and a few dollar bills between her breasts. He chuckled once she stood up and looked at Haines who was laughing.

“Damn, did we choose a great day to come by or what?” He said as he slowly eyed the girl whos stared sexually at Parker, Sam still awaiting for a gesture or a couple words.

Samuel || Prim

primrose-minson:

The beautiful scenery of Weston Hill Academy zoomed past Primrose, who was too caught up in thoughts of recent events. She hadn’t actually planned to go out at first until she received an online message from the charming Sam. Figuring out that staying in wouldn’t do any good, she went ahead with the plans to have a lunch. Each sign of regretting going out vanished with each word of their conversation.

Fighting temptation to just continuously vent about Sebastian and his incident, Primrose bit her bottom lip and just allowed herself to listen. A fake chuckled emerged when Sam had called Seb boring, ending it with a sigh.

“Oh c’mon, he has his moments,” she lightly complimented, still keeping her eyes glued to the pavement. She raised an eyebrow at the Henderson who sarcastically commented about Gregory, almost worrying her.

“For a second I thought you were serious. Something is up with that kid,” Primrose wondered without getting too much into it. If anything, she was still a bit shaken up from his outburst, but she didn’t want to worry anyone else about this seemingly harmless situation.

After being seated in Capice and having water poured for them, Primrose placed a provided straw into the ice cold water and took a sip of it, listening to Sam answer her previous question. A laugh escaped her lips mid conversation.

“You? Lonely? Don’t give me that, Sam,” she giggled, setting her drink back down on the table firmly. Truthfully, she understood. Having a string of one night stands doesn’t exactly compare to having that one special significant other that you trust. Primrose knew the feeling. Although she didn’t sleep around as her friend Sam did, she did build empty relationships. The Armonite usually avoided letting people learn too much about her in fears that she could get hurt again, so she shields her heart with humor and sarcasm, even to her closest friends. Samuel was no exception.

“A good looking guy like you? You’ll find someone, no doubt. You’re a pain in the ass most of the time, but I know that deep down, there’s a big sweet heart.” Primrose said, playfully rolling her eyes. To just say that Sam was a pain in the ass was an understatement. There were times where Prim just wanted to unleash her anger through her fist to the Henderson’s face, but the bottom line was that the two shared a great respect for each other, never bothering to dig into one another’s business. Sam did his thing and Primrose did her thing. Before another waitress came back to retrieve their order, curiosity struck.

“So you’ve seen Seb? I haven’t seen him since maybe two or three nights ago.. how is he?”

It didn’t hit him for awhile that her giggles were fake. He felt a bit selfish and bad about the whole event of calling Seb boring and making it seem as if he weren’t interested in her troubles. Sam looked at her more sincerely at Capice and shrugged, “Hey, sorry if I just seemed like a dick for what I said about Sebastian.” He cleared his throat before continuing, knowing that it’d be weird for him to admit that he was all ears for her. “But I’ll always be here to listen to you, just as I am to Seb and most of everyone.”

The way she spoke about Greg kind of worried Samuel. He knew personally that there was something going on with his room mate, but he never really got to know what for sure aside from his insomnia. But that was already something he’d figured out on his own. He knew that Gregory had random out bursts of anger and had some weird issues, but he wasn’t the type of guy to pursue a situation he didn’t feel invited to.

“Did something happen at your guys’ meet or what?” His voice showed true curiousity. He planned on gathering as much information as he could about his room mate. After all, it’d been awhile now since they’d been sleeping in the same place and yet had no relation aside from aqaintances whatsoever.

In truth, Samuel hadn’t had a one night stand in awhile. It’d been since before break, really. After his incident with Layla that he’d never spoken to about with anyone but May and Melissa, he hadn’t really gotten through with fucking another girl unless he was completely under the influence. Even then, he had some hesitations.

Samuel well knew that Primrose wasn’t just anyone a guy would walk past without a comment or thought in their mind. Primrose, after all, was beautiful. She had the eyes and body of a goddess. Just the way she spoke could be just enough to persuade any man into doing anything. But he didn’t think she knew she had this power over men. Samuel personally thought it’d be a bit unhealthy for Prim if it were ever to get to her head that she could do this.

But no one really understood his loneliness. It wasn’t normal for him to really feel this way. He was known as a manwhore, but not as much as his good friend Ryan was. Before finishing his thoughts, he began to tune in once again to what Primrose was saying.

“Well you know, it could happen.” He flashed one of those best known smiles that trick one into believing in one of his lies. He knew absolutely that what she was saying was hardly ever true. Handsome, sure. But would he ever find a certain someone to keep him busy enough to keep junior inside? He wasn’t just a bit of a pain in the ass. He was the biggest pain in the ass there could be. What girl would want to be into that.

He opened his mouth as if he were to comment on it. A bit embarrassed at the fact that no words came out made him blush, immediately getting him to attempt to change the subject.

“But I’ve heard a lot about you and Ian having something going on. True or false?”

Tonight will be one of those nights.

elizabethvanderley:

That’s good to hear. And it’s been all right, I got lots of work and reading done - my grades have improved significantly, which I’m happy about. Everyone seems to be excited about the Scavenger Hunt, so, that makes me happy, as well!

Yeah well.. everyone that’s included at least. And I’m not one of those. Are you?
